Crafted from C.F. Stead Superbuck suede, it features the tannery’s proprietary Gum Oil finish, which penetrates deep into the fibers to enhance the suede’s natural resilience and improve resistance to water and stains. The treatment preserves the compact fiber structure, supple hand feel, refined nap, and rich color depth that distinguish truly exceptional suede. **Solid stainless-steel buckles** provide a substantial, durable finishing touch, while a full lining of smooth sheepskin leather delivers a plush feel from the very first wear.

Underfoot, our latest Diamond rubber sole uses exceptionally flexible, shock-absorbing latex rubber to provide cushioning and comfort throughout the day. Paired with our **Flex Goodyear Welt construction** and vegetable-tanned leather insoles, the Orion is engineered for lasting comfort without sacrificing the structure, support, and longevity expected from a Goodyear-welted shoe.

It’s all built on our customer-favorite ORION last, featuring a generous forefoot for ease of wear alongside a refined, supportive heel that keeps the foot comfortably secured throughout the day.
